No, you aren't suffering from Alice in Wonderland Syndrome, these are some new super-huge pieces I've been working on in the studio today for target="_blank">Heartbreak. These massive prints are just over 1.5 meter wide, making finding space to work on them in my teeny tiny studio flat something of a challenge! 

Each one of the 4 extra large prints is the size of a double bed, not your average A3 sketchbook page! Sofas and tables have been stacked precariously on top of each other to allow the prints to lie flat on the floor, making my carpet into a sea of black and white florals and flourishes.

I'm delighted with how crisp the super size artwork has turned out - I had no idea you could scale up a hand drawn image so large without loosing quality and pixelating (all you Vector lovers take note, it IS possible!)

To add an extra something special to each of the prints, I dug out a few fine paintbrushes and some little pots of Love Heart Red and Metallic Gold paint and spent the afternoon sprawled out on the floor hand embellishing them. Lines of tiny gold polka dots, cherry red blossoms and the odd shimmering feather add a touch of the curios and charming to these big bold pieces.
