Big Picture

It took hours and hours, but this morning I finally finished scanning in the BrewDog Big Picture I drew earlier in the year.

The original artwork is A2 size (40cm x 60cm), hand drawn with a 0.2 Fineliner and illustrates the story so far of everyone's favourite Brewery. Now that we have it as a digital file, I might try printing up some posters. My poor old Mac is groaning under the hefty 1200dpi resolution, but I guess it means we can try some super sized prints - A0 anyone?!

Inky Beauty

And for everyone who has moaned at me in the past 3 months for not working in illustrator, I defy you to create something with this much character on a wacom! I'm sticking to my pen and ink for a little while longer!

  • Johanna, Stick to your guns (pens). Your work is magical and no doubt you could pull off great work with the digi pen . But I agree with you on the real ink to real paper. Donna

  • Amazing! you have a lot of patience :-) its worth the wait. I agree illustrator is efficient....but some images can look all the same.
