I am…SuperFly 1st Oct 2009

Once upon a time there was a guy in Dundee, a Super Guy.
Super Guy had a super idea.
Super Guy dreamt up SuperFly - a guerrilla exhibition of selected artists' work around the streets of Dundee through the medium of fly posters.
Genius.
SuperFly launched 2 months ago. A call to arms was sent to artists, illustrators, photographers and general image makers far and wide.
From the entries, 7 images by 7 different artists were selected, one of which, was my Punk Peacock design.

Pasted around the streets of Dundee are our posters, an anti establishment exhibition, a pop-up showcase of work for every Tom, Dick and Harry to see as they run for the bus or pop out for some milk. Art shouldn't exclude or differentiate, that's what makes Superfly so inherently Super.

Addmittedly, it took me until this morning to find my Punk Peacock posters, my favourite of which has been pasted to the fly poster tower outside my old haunt of Duncan of Jordanstone, facing out onto Perth Road. A bit of a homecoming?

So, grab your coat and head outside, see if you can find all 7 posters.
And if you are really struggling, take a peek here.
Well done again to SuperGuy for a tremendously super venture - can't wait for next year.
Keep up to date with SuperGuy on twitter.
