Desktop Wallpaper Calendars: March

What better way to herald the coming of springtime, than with a 10 piece Marching Band? This month's Desktop Wallpaper suggestion came from pun-loving nk">Charlie Bell via the Twitter Machine.

Marching BandDownload March's 10 piece Marching Band and have a little inky celebration parading across your desktop. Scampering along with the musical marchers is a runaway March hare or 2 and the odd rouge butterfly, all entwined within bunting and the green shoots of spring foliage. Celebration, fresh starts and -fingers crossed - the end of the snow! Hurrah!

Along with January's 10 Inquisitive Owls and February's 10 Robots in Love, the 10 piece MARCHing Band will be available as a very special limited edition print in December - a perfect little Christmas gift. I'm still deciding whether to do a 12 piece collection of prints or one massive poster print, maybe we can have a vote in November to decide?

In the meantime, thank you once again to everyone who emailed, tweeted and blogged their suggestions - you really make me giggle with your weird and wonderful ideas (10 monkey's all performing different styles of dance by alphabeta85 and 10 geese building flat pack furniture by travellednews were particular favorites!).

I'll be opening up my sketchbook to you at the end of March and asking what you'd like to see inkified on your Desktops in April, so get those ideas bubbling away!

  • Wow, your artwork is truly amazing. I love highly detailed black & white artwork. I spend hours if not days adding as much detail to my own art designs as I can, many times losing all track of time.Your art is truly beautiful and inspirational. Have you by any chance created a book featuring your illustrations? Thank you for sharing your creativity. got to go, its now 2 am, have work tomorrow.
