#Fringecover wins Scottish Design Award!     20th May 2011

Last night at the Scottish Design Awards, Fringecover picked up the award for Design Crafts (which I think is Design Award lingo for illustration). I'm super pleased, as this follows its win last year of a Dadi Award.

Who would have thought the first time I started drawing your tweets and fiddling around with webcams that it would lead to #twitterpicture winning glittery awards?!

Well done to everyone who was involved in this super project, especially to those of you who tweeted in suggestions and watched the live streaming over the 24 hours. I may have done all the doodling and the Whitespacers did all the tricky bits, but without you taking part and sending us your tweets, we wouldn't have had a cover at all!

So thank you, well done us and hurrah!
