Insectiana in Sweden     11th Sep 2008

Back in Spring, I received an email from a client who runs a design agency in Sweden who was in the midst of refurbishing a lovely old Hotel and Conference Centre near Stockholm. I spent several days in the studio printing up 3 meter panels of Insectiana in gloss black on white which were then rolled up and popped in the post to Sweden. Last week, I had a surprise email from my client with this beautiful image attached. The project is now complete, you can see full details of their beautiful work on their website (only in Swedish just now, but an English version is in the pipeline).

3 meter panels are an easy way to paper an interior with a large repeat pattern, minimising waste and allowing for easier hanging. 3 meter drops can also be hung in place of art work, for example suspended from the ceiling on either side of a fireplace or bed. Purchasing in 3 meter drops can be a more cost efficient way of buying into the bespoke wallpaper aesthetic, and if you want to move, just roll it up, stick it under your arm and off you pop to your new pad.
