Spring / Summer Textiles

I'm busy in the studio just now putting together my Spring / Summer Textile Collection which will be launched at Indigo, Premiere Vision, in Paris February 2009. True to form, I will be shunning the restrictive guidelines of the Trend Forecasters to pursue my own creative journey, which this season involves whimsical imaginations from Alice in Wonderland and The Secret Garden, with a hint of inky magic from A Midsummer Night's Dream.  Intrigued? Here's a little taster of what to expect in February...

The Midsummer Collection: A hand drawn collection in black and white, celebrating femininity and nature's curiosities. Drawing inspiration from botanics, fairytales and myths, large free blooms are offset by delicately scribed foliage and imaginative ramblings; creating a play on scale and density, mimicking the wildlife which inspired its creation.

Inquisitive eyes find hidden delights amongst inky, hand penned petals, whilst delicate layers of watercolour create a light, ethereal charm amidst a peppering of butterflies and birds.

Tumble down the rabbit hole and find yourself in an enchanted world of black and white print and pattern, perfect for a little midsummer daydreaming.

I'm bringing the magic and intrigue back to textiles and fashion - forget hard geometrics or cold as ice computer generated design, indulge your senses in something truly wonderful from my Spring / Summer Collection.

The collection will be available for a limited number of pre-views to selected studios and fashion houses before the public unveiling at Indigo. Please contact the studio to enquire about booking an appointment.
