Wedding Invitations     8th Mar 2009

Some new drawings over the weekend led to these little inky designs. A draft version of some wedding invites I'm working on for a very special bride to be in the Autumn. The final versions will be printed in a rich shade o f raspberry red on white to tie in with the Bridesmaid dresses. There's a wee rogue butterfly fluttering at the top left of the motif which I think gives this otherwise symmetrical design a quirky little twist, kind of off-setting the balance a little.

Other news from the studio: the Tattoo blog has had a big, big response - far more than I'd imagined, so I'm going to sit down and email everyone who got in touch about it this week and let you all know what's going on. Thanks to everyone who got in touch - more news on the project soon!
