Zephyr for BrewDog 14th Mar 2009
: none;">My latest piece of work for the boys at BrewDog is the label design for their 2nd Birthday Anniversary beer, a strawberry infused Double IPA called Zephyr.
(IPA = ‘India Pale Ale’ for all you non beer geeks… my beer education is coming on nicely!)
It’s a deep berry pink version of the Paradox label I created for their 1st Birthday beer and this time round, the boys are bottling the fruity concoction in Champagne Bottles.
More photos to follow shortly, but for now, you can read more about Zephyr on the BrewDog blog right here.
Another beery project I’m working on just now is the label for BrewDog’s Atlantic IPA, the first IPA in 200 years to be aged at sea onboard James’ fishing trawler, The Ocean Quest. A nautical inspired illustration, complete with rogue waves, sharks and perhaps even a giant squid is called for. Any sea-faring Pirate would be delighted to swig from a bottle so beautifully decorated.
You can see the opening chapters of the Atlantic IPA story on the boys’ video blog:
Shiver me timbers.
