Last week this little person finally made an appearance, a mere 15 days late (we’ve since had a chat about the importance of time management). Say hello to Evie.

She’s just perfect and well worth all the tricky days of trying to maneuver a baby bump under my drawing board and panicking I wouldn’t get Enchanted Forest finished before she arrived!

Just as Studio Pup has to become accustomed to his new comrade, I’m getting my head around swapping fineliners and Wacom tablets for nappies and baby grows. I’ve long questioned the true cost of multitasking and know without hesitation that this is one collaboration project that needs my full attention.

With that in mind, I’m taking a wee bit of time off on maternity leave. I’m also going to have an Internet detox and won’t be checking in on social media or email throughout this time, so don’t worry if all falls quiet!

I’ll be back in the Autumn with a baby proofed studio, some awesome new projects and no doubt the mother of all To Do lists (excuse the pun).
