Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I’m delighted to tell you all that I’ve signed a new book deal with my brilliant publishers, Laurence King and I’m starting work on my 3rd book! Hurrah!

Following on from Secret Garden and Enchanted Forest (which will be out next March!), this next colouring book will be a little different. We don’t want to reveal too many details just yet, but I’m working on a new format that I hope you will love! Selfishly, I’m making my dream book – so I really hope you all like it too!

The artwork will be more complex and intricate – a new challenge for all you accomplished colouring fans. And we have a few extra surprises and twists planned along the way too which I hope will charm and delight you.

I’m so excited to be starting this new project and can’t wait to share the work in progress images with you along the way. Keep an eye on my inky progress via Twitter, Instagram (@johannabasford) and Facebook.

In the meantime Secret Garden continues to keep colouring fans busy all around the world! I found out this week that it is a best seller in South Korea where the colouring bug has really taken hold!
