I’m Hiring : Marketing Assistant

I’m looking for a part time Marketing Assistant to help me turn the internet inky.
I have some exciting projects in the pipeline, the biggest of which is the launch of my new book, World of Flowers, in October. As the online creative community continues to grow, I’ve discovered I need a little help behind the scenes!
I’m building a team of talented folks who are as passionate about inspiring others, making great work and building a community as I am. With the biggest colouring audience online, a world class publishing partner in Penguin Random House and sales of over 21 million colouring books worldwide, we have a unique opportunity to spread our inky love far and wide!
Qualifications aren’t essential, but experience is. I need someone with a proven track record of online excellence and previous projects they are proud to point me to. Also, you need to really love this online stuff!
You’ll be helping me keep my blog, website and social media channels fresh and inspiring, curating my Colouring Gallery, as well as helping me set-up and launch our new email newsletter. In addition to the day to day tasks, we’ll work collaboratively to come up with new ideas and inspirational content to share with our audience so a passion for creativity and a wondering imagination are vital.
You’ll know your way around WordPress, MailChimp and Photoshop. You’ll have super time management and communication skills; be organised, deadline conscious and also disciplined / happy to work remotely. Working from home isn’t for everyone, you must have experience of this.
You’ll be happy editing images for online use, have a good eye for design and your written English needs to be tip top.
The Nitty Gritty: This is a part time post starting at 5 hours / week but with the scope to expand. Pay will be dependent on experience. You can be based anywhere, but we’ll schedule occasional skype catch-ups weekday mornings between 10am and noon, so it’s important you can be available with prior notice. If you are based locally in Aberdeenshire / Scotland there’s the opportunity to work in-house from the studio on special projects, location isn’t a deal breaker though.
Happy to discuss flexible working to accommodate family commitments (hello working mums!) / studying / other freelance gigs. You’ll need your own laptop, a reliable internet connection and a happy heart.
