TED Top Ten
I’ve spent the last few weeks trawling the TED archive and asking for your recommendations on Twitter and Facebook. Here’s my shortlist of 10 favourite talks that inspire, intrigue and encourage. Some are golden oldies, some I’ve linked to before, some inspire and some noodle your brain a little. But I guess that’s the fundamental goal of TED?
1. Stefan Sagmeister: The power of time off
2. Simon Sinek: How great leaders inspire action
3. Shawn Achor: The happy secret to better work
4. Austin Kleon: Steal like an Artist
5. Marian Bantjes: Intricate beauty by design
6. Steve Jobs: How to live before you die
7. Amy Cuddy: Your body language shapes who you are
8. Ken Robinson says schools kill creativity
9. David McCandless: The beauty of data visualization
10. Dan Pink: The puzzle of motivation
What are your favourites?
Thanks to everyone who pointed me in the direction of their own reccomenations!
