Collaboration and Co-creation are pretty darn central to this Creativity malarkey, so when digital doodler extraordinaire Sooper Double D (aka Lyall Bruce) asked if I wanted to team up with him to create the official poster of the NEoN Festival, I was only too pleased to get involved.
NEoN (North East of North) is a 3 day digital arts festival, taking place in Dundee on 13th - 15th November. During the 3 days, Neon will showcase the world's best technologies and studios as well as artists from interactive, online, videogame, music, movie, broadcast and digital media sectors. Add to that a speaker line up that would make even the hardest of Creatives go a little wobbly at the knees: Bud Luckey (Disney Pixar) Ian Anderson (The Designers Republic) Simon Parsons (BBC) Andy Sithers (Microsoft) Dave Jones (RealTime Worlds) Alice Taylor (Channel 4)...
Now, admittedly I'm not big into techno digital wizardry (I have yet to master predictive texting) and I have been known to brand those who are with the G word - but even I'm excited super excited about this!
The collaboration poster is a visual sound clash; old school pen and ink meets high tech pixel magic. The result? Well you can judge yourself. Every NEoN attendee will get a copy of this exclusive print to take home and stick on their fridge.

Check out the Neon Website for more details on how to get your hands on tickets, join the Ning network and follow them on Twitter.
