Why the move to the dark side, just as spring has sprung? Karoline's suggestion may be a little off kilter for this time of year, but there is something about the contrast of such a gnarly, dark image compared to all the other desktops available this month (queue ice creams, little birdies, flowers, lambs and kites) which makes me smile.

10 inky skulls are intertwined with foliage, thorns and spider webs, making for one darkly delicious desktop.

A big, big thank your once again for all the great suggestions on the blog, via Twitter and all your emails. I was really quite taken by @travellednews'10 fish swimming around lily pads and Annabel_jones_84's 10 stray cats on trash cans (Top Cat anyone?!).

I will be doing this all again in a few weeks, so get thinking up some suitably summery suggestions for June!
