(Yup, working in the studio has changed a bit!)

I’ve known for a few weeks that (unbelievably!) sales of my colouring book, Secret Garden were nearing the 200,000 mark. Today the email arrived to say we’d done it! TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND COPIES! I can’t even begin to picture what that number of books looks like!

I’m over the moon (and very humbled) at how well my little book of black and white drawings has been received by colouring-in fans the world over. It’s just incredible.

When I started out on this project I was tentative to say the least. Luckily I was working with the wonderful publishing team at Laurence King and they turned my mountains of inky drawings into a book which is now available all over the globe!

I’m so lucky and grateful to have had this opportunity with them and cannot wait for my next colouring book, Enchanted Forest to be out in early 2015. And next? Well hopefully I’ll have some more exciting news to share with you soon…

For now I’m off out with Studio Pup and Evie for a celebratory walk which may or may not include copious quantities of dog treats and some gleeful renditions of ‘If you’re happy and you know it!”
