Should you use pens or pencils to colour?

Pens will give you a vibrant pop of colour, but pencils are much more versatile, allowing you to blend and very the depth of shade.

If you are just starting out, I’d recommend giving pencils a shot – they are a little more forgiving!

And always test your pens and pencils at the back of your book before diving in (just in case they bleed or the colours appear different onto paper of the book you are colouring).
