A quick look at a tasty little job I did for the guys at Touch. Their client was PizzaLuxe, a wonderful little artisanal food company specalising in pizzas made with deluxe ingredients (but at pocket friendly prices!).

The brief was a shopping list of delicious ingredients which I illustrated in a simple, linear hand. We wanted the artwork to reflect the honest, hand made nature of the food and let the ingredients be the central focus.  This style of drawing is a lot looser than my usual super intricate work, but we felt the playful nature of wobbly hand penned lines and the stripped back character echoed what was at the heart of the PizzaLuxe concept.

 

In addition to marketing materials, the artwork is going to be applied to the interior of PizzaLuxe’s new restaurant at Westfield Shopping Centre in London Town. So if you pop in for a pizza and a glass of Prosecco, take a peek at the inky walls.

Undoubtedly the most mouth watering commission I’ve worked on to date, I can’t wait to taste my drawings!
