#Twitterpicture Day 2
The #twitterpicture suggestion box is now closed!
After just 4 short hours of snoozing, I was up and at my desk again this morning to plough my way though all the weird and wonderful tweets from
yesterday before the next wave started to hit.
Thanks to various blog posts pointing people in my direction – including lovely pieces on the Creative Review Blog, the homepage of Central Station and a rather nifty little mention in the Metro – I have been inundated with suggestions for this truly unique artwork.
As promised, each and every suggestion will be used, the drawing has already outgrown 2 sheets of paper and continues to become more complex and detailed. I’ve still for a fair way to go (there’s a big stack of suggestions still waiting to make their appearance!), but I’m aiming to have the paper artwork finished by tomorrow night.
People who tweeted about Orangutans, Mooses (what is the plural of Moose?!) and Tigers – I haven’t forgotten you, I just need to perfect my animal draftmanship!
The response has been immense – thank you to all who took up the challenge and got involved! By tomorrow night you’ll be able to spot your suggestion, craftily incorporated into the pen and ink drawing.
For all you facts and figures junkies, I’ll be compiling some stats on the Twitter suggestions over the weekend. There’s definitely certain ideas which repeatedly occur throughout and some pretty weird suggestions – what does this reveal about us?!
For those of you who have been emailing and tweeting asking how to get your hands on one of the limited edition prints, I’ll be posting all the details on my Twitter and Blog next week.
