With my new book, World of Flowers launching in October, I thought it might be fun to have an inky warm-up and get your creative juices flowing with a Summer Colouring Competition!

Each of the 5 winners will receive an inky parcel containing a signed copy of Ivy and the Inky Butterfly as well as a pack of 24 Staedtler Ergo Soft colouring pencils and a few other inky treasures!

As ever, I’ll be awarding prizes to Colourists who inspire and delight us with their creativity, they might use awesome colour palettes, unusual techniques or just generally make us smile with their colouring! You do not have to be a pro colourist to be in with a chance of winning a prize, just have fun, let your creativity shine and capture some happy! So grab your pens and pencils and take part in the fun!

1. Download the artwork from Ivy and the Inky Butterfly here.
2. Colour any way you want – be creative!
3. Upload your photo to my Colouring Gallery.
4. Make sure you select ‘ Ivy and the Inky Butterfly Colouring Competition’ from the drop down menu in the upload form when you are asked to select a category.

The closing date is Friday 10^thAugust at 12 noon UK time and I’ll select the winners on Monday 13^thAugust.

Anyone can enter, any colouring supplies can be used and you can either use the download or the image from your book. Easy peasy.
